The Man In The Devil Mask...

...was really quite frightening wandering around North Temple yelling, no...intimidating conference goers.  Now that I mention it the anti-Mormon picketers were really quite nervy yelling vulgarities at us...calling us idiots...trying to provoke us.

I tried in someway to sheild Ethan and Joshua from the verbal abuse by instinctively putting myself between the man and my boys.  Ethan reached out and pulled his brother closer.

A group of young adults, singing hymns, could barely be heard over the yelling...reminding me that the still small voice --The Spirit, will always be a constant guide to lead us back to our Father.

Our prophet, Thomas S. Monson, who is a man of God, leads us.  We should follow the counsel of the living prophets.  The people in Noah's day thought that the words of the prophets who were dead, was enough for them.  They didn't want to listen to Noah, who had asked them to repent or else they would be destroyed.  Had they listened to him they would not have perished.

I was sitting in conference thinking about the picketers when Elder Anderson said, "Heed them not!" as part of his talk.

Love the Lord, love your family, keep the commandments, endure to the end.

By their fruits ye may know them.  (see Matt. 7:16)
