Me and the girls (or is it My girls and I) are on our own tonight. My Man took the boys on the Father's and Son's outing, a Mormon cultural tradition, that is held each May to commemorate the restoration of the priesthood to the earth. To learn more about that, go here.
I let the girls plan our evening. They wanted to go to the bookstore, have pizza for dinner and watch Tim Burton's Alice In Wonderland. Pretty easy to please.
I think my guys are having hot dogs and s'mores for dinner, and most likely are singing koom-by-yah around the campfire or something exciting like that. Just in case you wanted to know.

We took a little trip to Idaho over Easter weekend. It was good to see our families for a few days. No super storms, just a little snow that the kids had a blast playing in and freezing their fingers for. It was very fun to see the big fluffy flakes fall from the sky, covering the grass like a feather blanket. After the storm as the snow was melting away, I watched out the front window of my parents home as the fog rolled down off the mountain and into their little valley. A feeling of nostalgia filled my soul. It was a good trip. Short and sweet.
(I'm sure the picture would look tons better if only I owned a top notch digital SLR camera and the Tamron camera lens. Know what I'm sayin'? Of course you do.)
And for your information this creepy little fellow held a welcoming party for us when we got home...
It's a scorpion...and needless to say, I've not been sleeping well since. Wo is me. Right? Eww, I just got the willies. I'm not too fond of these eight legged critters or is it six legs. Got the willies again...
HAVE A GOOD NIGHT!
...and remember to check your bed sheets before you crawl into bed. Ha!
