I have a minor addiction to crafts magazines. I always look for my favorite ones each time I shop at the store. A few months ago I purchased the Better Homes and Gardens Creative Collection: Holiday Crafts at Costco. I have found several interesting projects in there worth making and have even made a few. One of the things I made was a set of His and Her Christmas stockings. When I saw them in the magazine I intantly thought of my mom and dad and I thought that these particular stockings were something that they needed to own. So I got it in my head to make them...and I did! They were easy and fun to put together and I'm pleased with how they turned out. 
I decided to give them as an anniversary gift. My parents were married 39 years ago, last month, for time and all eternity in the Mesa Arizona Temple. Together, they worked hard to raise six children in the gospel. They have always been a steady guide in my life and I hope to raise my own children in the same way. Love you Dad and Mom!

They turned out great! Nice work! I love the his and hers. I made stockings for us this year too. It was simple, and made out of felt...but I made 5 instead of 4! ;)
