Her look of surprise and enjoyment was priceless and one I wish I could have captured on film; but sometimes these special moments are better left for the heart to reflect upon later. All the while wishing that we'll never forget.
President Thomas S Monson said something during General Conference that I hope to always remember. He taught that we should live in the moment, by "relish[ing] life as we live it,
find[ing] joy in the journey, and shar[ing] our love with friends and family. One day each of us will run out of tomorrows."
He continued to say, "If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will—to your surprise—miss them profoundly."
As a mother, I have made it a point to never wish that my children would hurry and grow up. Instead I try to adapt to the changes that come and go. By remembering what is most important...to express my gratitude and to find joy in my journey.
I LOVE YOU GUYS!

Cool about the aqua blue shirt. Sounds like the discovery stages. Susanne recently realized that the thumb she has been sucking is hers and connected as an appendage. She just stares at her hand, moving the fingers slowly and in awe. A neat time. I'm sure you are just savoring the moments. But I must say, I wouldn't mind less laundry.
sound this word verification out: 'vmwlufi'
I agree with the above, in that I need to enjoy the time at hand. I am sure Elder Campbell and I will look back on our missionary experiences with fondness, remembering the special time that it was. Before we know it we will be back home. Life's moments are fleeting, and especially moments with your children. Enjoy the journey!
You know that is so true. Some days I just wish that they could be older and other days I just really enjot the age that they are!! Thanks for that insight. Your kids are getting so big and I cant even believe that Emma Lou is 2 months already. Time goes by so fast. I hope that you guys are doing well. Love, Desserae

they really need to find a new name for it...certainly not "word verification!" how 'bout "symbol or letter verification"? especially for those learning phonics or pyropyaphonetesis (or wahtevatheycallitnowdayz)
