Each time I see the Upside-Down Man
I look at him and start to laugh,
Although I shouldn't oughtter.
For maybe in another world
Another time
Another town,
Maybe HE is right side up
And I am upside down.
--Shel SilversteinKacey is 16 months old. She really likes to look at herself in the mirror. I'm not sure if she realizes that the little girl on the other side is her or not.
Yesterday, she was looking in the mirror and smiling and swaying back and forth looking at herself....ya know being all cute and everything....when suddenly she stopped and noticed that I was watching her through the reflection of the mirror. She flashed me her best and happiest of smiles, of course. A smile letting me know how especially pleased she was that she had a little friend playing with her.
She then went back to her play, looked at the girl in the mirror, and pinched her! Her response? "Ouch!"

She is a smart girl...and we love her to pieces!
"man in the mirror" is a poem that's pretty unique. I can't find it though I've been looking. If any of you locate it, let me know. Thanks..
